Winter Storm Warning

5:40 p.m.: The latest from the National Weather Service is that our area could receive between 2 and 6 inches of snow Sunday night into Monday morning.

The storm will start as light snow tonight, then turn into sleet and freezing rain later tonight before turning to rain and then to snow and sleet before ending Monday afternoon.

Travel conditions will be difficult tonight and Monday morning, according to the NWS.

A Winter Storm Warning for between 7 p.m. Sunday and 1 p.m. Monday is still in effect.

Winds should be 5 to 10 mph and temperatures should be in the upper 20s to lower 30s.
