08/17/2025 A 50-yearold Somerset man was arrested by Old Bridge PD for an outstanding warrant out of our jurisdiction. The FTPD took custody of him and transported him to Somerset County Jail after he was processed. 

08/10/2025 A Somerset resident was the victim of a burglary and theft in the area of Home St. during the overnight hours. The unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle. The suspect(s) stole $10, and property valued at $150.

08/03/2025 A 37-year-old Somerset man was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Long Branch during a motor vehicle stop. He was processed and released after posting bail. 

07/27/2025 A Garner, North Carolina resident was the victim of a burglary and theft in the area of Domino Rd. during the overnight hours. The unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and stole property valued at $3,250. 

07/19/2025 An Edison resident was the victim of a burglary and criminal mischief in the area of Dewald Ave. during the overnight hours. The unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s vehicle by damaging the door handle. Once inside, the suspect(s) damaged the steering column in a possible attempt to steal the vehicle. The suspect(s) were unsuccessful.

07/13/2025 A 49-year-old Huntington, NY man was arrested for DWI during a motor vehicle stop in the area of DeMott Ln. He was processed and released with a pending court appearance. 

07/06/2025 Patrol recovered a stolen motor vehicle from an outside jurisdiction during a fight call at a local hotel. The vehicle was unoccupied. The suspect has been identified. The reporting agency was notified of the recovery and positive identification of the suspect.

06/29/2025 A business located on Somerset St. was the victim of a shoplifting during the morning hours. An unknown male exited the store without paying for merchandise valued at $200. The suspect fled the area on a bicycle. 

06/22/2025 A business located on Somerset St. was the victim of a shoplifting during the early morning hours. An unknown female exited the store without paying for merchandise valued at $15. Patrol canvassed the area for the suspect with negative results.

06/15/2025 A 41-year-old Somerset man was arrested for shoplifting from a business located on Easton Ave. He exited the store without paying for merchandise valued at $313. He was apprehended after he initially ran from responding to patrol officers. He was processed and released on a summons.
