A 23-year-old township man was killed Dec. 7 in a snowmobile accident in upstate New York.
Jonathan Black was ejected from his snowmobile on a trail in Webb, N.Y. after it failed to negotiate a turn, according to a published report.
Black’s injuries did not seem life-threatening at first, according to the report, but he suffered cardiac arrest as he was being tended to by first responders.
Black’s mother, Maria, is a Spanish teacher at Franklin High School.
Webb is located about 75 miles north of Utica.
