Goofs And Ghouls at Colonial Park Gardens October 22

The Somerset County Park Commission Colonial Park Gardens staff will welcome family and friends of all ages to enjoy a goofy afternoon from 1-3 p.m. Oct. 22.

Garden staff will organize family-friendly activities including crafting with nature, games, pumpkin bowling, and pumpkin painting. The witch in the Stone Cottage will be serving up cider and goodies. Be sure to wear your Halloween costume.

Please meet at the Colonial Park Gardens Stone Cottage, Parking Lot A., 156 Mettlers Rd., Somerset.

Participants will have the opportunity to paint a pumpkin for $5 while supplies last.

Colonial Park Gardens include the Perennial Garden with a collection of flowering shrubs, bulbs, perennials, and annuals; the Fragrance and Sensory Garden designed for visitors who are visually or physically impaired; and the internationally acclaimed Rudolf W. van der Goot Rose Garden.
