It was cold, it was windy. And it was cold. The Franklin High School Warriors were unsuccessful Thanksgiving Day in snapping their six-game Turkey Day losing streak to the Piscataway Chiefs, losing 25-7 and capping a disappointing season for the varsity footballers. Two girls’ teams in the Franklin Township Soccer League won their divisions on Oct. 19 in the North Brunswick Soccer Club’s Spookarama soccer tournament. Time is almost up to register for the Franklin Township Baseball League’s Fall Ball season. Registration forms have to be in by Aug. 31. The program begins on Sept. 14, and runs through Nov. 2.
