Openings Available for Franklin Day Festival Vendors, Volunteers

Space for commercial and non-profit organizations is still available for the fourth annual Franklin Day Festival, scheduled for noon to 5 p.m. Sept. 23 in Colonial Park.

Volunteers are also needed for the event, where thousands of visitors are expected.

The event will feature live music, more than 150 vendors, dance performances, 20 food trucks, a classic car show, an aerialist, and a myriad of free activities for children, such as bubble soccer, miniature golf, paddleboats, climbing wall, pony rides, petting zoo, face painting and more.

Event organizers said about 10,000 people attended the 2016 event.
