March 3, 10, 17, 24 & 31 – Quail Brook’s Continuing Art Institute with Karen Haake, Local Artist, 1:00-3 p.m.
March 4 – “Making Time For Mammography” by the Robert Wood Johnson Community Health Center, 10:30 a.m. (This program will cover various aspects of breast health, different types of breast cancer and how it is diagnosed, the importance of getting a mammogram, and what determines a treatment protocol.)
March 5 – “Podiatry Clinic: A Foot Health Program & FREE Screenings” with Dr. Sharon Joag, DPM, East Brunswick Foot Care, 10:30-12 p.m.
March 6 – “Maple Sugaring” by Rich Hoffman, Naturalist, Somerset County Park Commission, 10:30 a.m.
March 10 – Ageless Grace: A New Exercise Program by Roz Gerken, 10:30 a.m. (This is a timeless fitness program for the body and mind for lifelong comfort and ease. Learn simple tools and activities that include right and left brain stimulation and physical movement.)
March 11 – “Everything Good is Green: A Cooking Demonstration & Tasting” by Allison Napolitano, RD, Shoprite/Wakefern, 10:30 a.m.
March 12 – “Fall: A Season, Not an Action: Prevention & FREE Balance Screenings” with Renata Pac, PT, DMT, JAG Physical Therapy, 10:30 a.m. (Therapists from JAG Physical Therapy will conduct a brief presentation on fall prevention followed by individual balance screenings.)
March 13 – Plant Your Own National Symbol of Ireland and Learn 5 Ways to Dance the Irish Jig with Willow Creek Rehabilitation Center, 10:30 a.m.
March 17 – A Gala Irish Affair with Entertainment by Ian Gallagher on the Fiddle, 10:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m.
March 18 – Movement for Healthy Living & Life: Exercise Class in Breathing, Movement and Fun with Joanne, 10:30 a.m.
March 19 – Beloved Bingo, 10:30 a.m.
March 25 – “Let’s Move: Brain Cognition, Exercise, Physical Activity & Health” by Dr. Rashmi Srinivas, Bridgewater Family Medicine, Summit Medical Group, 10:30 a.m.
March 26 – Visit to the Raritan Valley Community College Planetarium., 10:30 a.m. Visit will include showing of ‘Winter and Spring Skies,’ a presentation that will teach viewers how to use Orion as a seasonal guide to find other stars and constellations.
March 27 – Armchair Travel: Visiting the Galapagos Islands, 10:30 a.m.
March 30 – “Move to Get F.I.T.” by Caitlin Witucki, MS, Health Promotion Specialist, Somerset County Office on Aging, 10:30 a.m. (In this program, created by the New Jersey Geriatric Education Center, UMDNJ-School of Osteopathic Medicine and the New Jersey Institute for Successful Aging, you will be able to identify the importance of physical activity recommendations. Most importantly, this program will help you plan a strategy for motivating you to begin or maintain your exercise program.)
