Franklin Park School PTO is hosting a “Sip and Paint” fundraiser Oct. 19 at the East Franklin Volunteer Fire Department, 121 Pinegrove Ave.
The event, which will begin at 6:30 p.m., is to raise money for the school and to make a contribution to a local breast cancer organization.
“The proceeds raised for the students will help us purchase new playground equipment, upgrade classrooms, and continue to support field trip costs,” Montese Anderson, the PTO president, said in an email.
Tickets are $50 per person and include light refreshments, painting supplies and a raffle ticket. Reservations are required, walk-ins will not be accepted. Attendees must be over 18 years old.
