Victoria Seamon of Somerset has been named to Alvernia University’s Dean’s List for the spring 2018 semester as a senior. Seamon studied Occupational Therapy at Alvernia and is a graduate of Franklin High School. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, students must carry a semester GPA of 3.5 or better and take a minimum of 12 credits. She also earned a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy and Bachelor of Science in Health Science . Seamon completed studies on Main Campus in Reading, Pa . Alvernia’s graduation ceremonies on May 12, 2018 featured a Baccalaureate Mass and Hooding Ceremony on Main Campus followed by Commencement at Santander Arena.
Anthony Michael Zapata of Somerset was named to The University of Alabama Dean’s List for spring 2018. A total of 11,347 students enrolled during the 2018 spring semester at UA were named to the Dean’s List with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the President’s List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A’s).
Garrett Callaghan, an Ithaca College student from Franklin Park, was named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2018 semester.
Michael P. Diana of Somerset was among more than 1,650 students named to The University of Scranton’s Dean’s List for the 2018 spring semester. The Dean’s List recognizes students for academic excellence. A student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better with a minimum number of credit hours during the semester to make the Dean’s List. Diana is a sophomore psychology major in the University’s College of Arts and Sciences.

Shelby A. Lubowicki of Somerset has been named to the President’s List at Clemson University for the spring 2018 semester. Lubowicki is majoring in Health Science. To be named to the President’s List, a student must achieve a 4.0 (all As) grade-point average.
Austin Kane Ritter of Somerset graduated with a degree in Finance from James Madison University during the May 4, 2018 commencement exercises.
The following students have been named to the spring 2018 Dean’s List at University of the Sciences. Selection for this award is based on completing and passing all assigned courses with no grade below a “C” and attaining an academic average of at least 3.4 for courses taken in the spring of 2018: Parth Patel, Shanaya Patel and Nicolette Cerminaro, all of Somerset, and Krina Patel of Franklin Park.
