Second Chance for Animals Receives $3,000 Donation

Second Chance for Animals, the organization that funds the Franklin Township Animal Shelter on DeMott Lane, celebrated its 15th anniversary with its 3,000th spaying and a $3,000 donation from the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Free Flu Shots for Franklin Senior Citizens

The Somerset County Health Department will offer flu shots from 9:30-11 a.m. on Oct. 10 and Oct. 24 for township senior citizens at the Franklin Township Community Senior Center, 505 DeMott Lane.
