The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce that Casey Conley and Steph Spada, both of Somerset, were named to the Spring 2019 Dean’s List. To be included on the Dean’s List, full-time students must have completed 12 or more credits for letter grades during a semester and achieved at least a 3.30 quality point average. Part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 or more credits for letter grades earning at least a 3.30 quality point average.

Brigid Moynihan, a member of the class of 2021 from Somerset, has been named to the spring 2019 Dean’s List at Loyola University Maryland. In order to qualify for the Dean’s List at Loyola, a student must achieve a minimum QPA of at least 3.500 for the term, provided that, in the term they have successfully completed courses totaling a minimum of 15 credits.

 A total of 11,406 students enrolled during the 2019 spring term at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean’s List with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the President’s List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A’s). Among the students are Julianna Collazo of Somerset, Dean’s List and Klara Deak, President’s List.

Garrett Callaghan, an Ithaca College student from Franklin Park, was named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2019 semester. Callaghan is majoring in Business Administration and Accounting.

Hofstra University congratulates the students named to the Spring 2019 Dean’s List for their outstanding academic achievement. Students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 during the semester to make the Dean’s List: Skye Boomer of Somerset and Madison Mento of Franklin Park.

James Madison University is pleased to announce the students who graduated during the May 2019 commencement exercises: Shanelle Bailey of Somerset graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Matthew Goodman of Somerset graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, Kevin Wehner of Somerset graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting.

Jave Brown, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies in interdisciplinary studies from Franklin Park, was among 445 students who graduated from Coastal Carolina University.

Julianna Starr Collazo of Somerset has received the following from The University of Alabama: Bachelor of Arts. UA awarded some 5,716 degrees during spring commencement May 3-5.

SUNY New Paltz is proud to congratulate Karen Gonzalez of Somerset for being named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2019 semester. Dean’s List designation is reserved for students who excel academically and earn at least a 3.3 grade-point average in a semester with a full-time course load.

Joseph V. Caruso of Franklin Park, a junior environmental science major in the University’s College of Arts and Sciences and Michael P. Diana of Somerset, a senior psychology major in the University’s College of Arts and Sciences, were among more than 1,650 students named to The University of Scranton’s Dean’s List for the 2019 spring semester. The Dean’s List recognizes students for academic excellence. A student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better with a minimum number of credit hours during the semester to make the Dean’s List.

Matthew Wojenski of Somerset was among more than 3,800 students from Miami University who received degrees during spring commencement exercises Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Millett Hall. Wojenski graduated with a B.S. in Business degree, majoring in Management and Leadership.

Muhlenberg College students were recognized for their academic achievement and named to Dean’s List for Spring 2019, including these local students: Skyllar Capuno of Somerset, Julia Lombardo of Franklin Park, Phuc Nguyen of Somerset, and Madison Whiting of Somerset. Students with a term GPA of 3.50 or higher were recognized for this academic achievement.

Ryan Tatu of Somerset was named to the Dean’s List at Rochester Institute of Technology for the 2019 Spring Semester. Tatu is in the electrical engineering program.

SUNY New Paltz is pleased to congratulate Karen Gonzalez of Somerset, who received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders during the 2019 Commencement season.

The following students have been named to the Spring 2019 Dean’s List at University of the Sciences. Selection for this award is based on completing and passing all assigned courses with no grade below a “C” and attaining an academic average of at least 3.4 for courses taken in the spring of 2019: Parth Patel of Somerset is a Pharmacology and Toxicology student, Shanaya Patel of Somerset is a Doctor of Occupational Therapy student, Vidhi Dalal of Somerset is a Doctor of Occupational Therapy student, Brinoy Patel of Franklin Park is a Doctor of Pharmacy student, Siham Naseer of Franklin Park is a Doctor of Pharmacy student, Krina Patel of Franklin Park is a Doctor of Physical Therapy student, Khushbu Patel of Franklin Park is a Doctor of Physical Therapy student and Tuhay Jalloh of Somerset is a Doctor of Physical Therapy student.

Widener University congratulates students who achieved Dean’s List status for spring 2019. The Dean’s List recognizes full-time students who earned a grade point average of 3.50 and above for the semester. Students on the list, and their major, included: Ayanna Jenkins of Somerset, education/special education, and Brittney Jones of Somerset, Nursing.
