Somerset County Business Partnership Sets Social Media How-To Seminar

So you’ve heard of Twitter, but you’re not quite sure how you can use it to build your business?

The Somerset County Business Partnership is holding a “Business Builder” breakfast workshop to address that question, as well as the overall issue of using social media as a business-building tool.

The breakfast is set for 8-9:30 a.m. Sept. 10 at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites, 947 Route 202, Branchburg.

The interactive session will feature a panel of local business people who will discuss how to create a successful social media plan. The panelists include Maria Semple of The Prospect Finder, Beverly Thomas of Graphic Matter and Gabriela Levit of Jacaranda Technologies.

Topics up for discussion include how to select the most effective primary social media channels, using LinkedIn as a prospecting tool, and why Google+ cannot be ignored.

The fee for the session is $10 for Business Partnership members and $20 for non-members. A Continental breakfast will be served.

To register, call the Partnership at (908) 218-4300 or go online at web.scbp.org/events.
