FR&A Gallery: Pups Strut Their Stuff In ‘Paws For A Cause’ Fund Raiser

More than 100 dogs in various shapes, sizes and colors gathered at Colonial Park May 15 for the annual dog walk benefiting Second Chance for Animals.

SCFA is the organization that funds the Franklin Township Animal Shelter.

The “Paws for a Cause” also featured more than 50 vendors, representing everything from animal product distributors to veterinarians.

Total receipts were not immediately available, but Tom Young, an SCFA volunteer who organized the event, said initial indications were that the amount raised was a new record.

“We had a great day out here,” Young said, in thanking the vendors and pet owners who attended the event. “We had a great turnout of the two- and four-legged.”

Below are some scenes from the event.
