Donna Zsoldos of North Brunswick was driving down Route 27, near Route 518, when a deer suddenly ran out in front of her car. Zsoldos told police she could not avoid hitting the animal.

Katherine Gangi of Manalapan was cited for careless driving after the car she was driving rear-ended one driven by Monica Gaydos of Piscataway. Gaydos’ car was stopped for the light at New Brunswick Road and Elizabeth Avenue when it was hit. Gangi told police she did not apply her brakes hard enough.

§

Daniel Tendler of Somerset was cited for careless driving, leaving the scene of an accident and driving with an expired license after the car she was driving backed into one driven by Javeed Fuhana, also of Somerset, in a parking lot at 199 Pierce St. The two exchanged information, Fuhana told police, but Tendler said she had to leave to go to an appointment.

Mitesh Gandhi of Franklin Park told police his car was stopped at the traffic light at Cedar Grove Lane and Easton Avenue when, he said, he felt a “big impact” to the rear of his car. Barbara Delgallego of Princeton told police that she was braking at a slow speed when her car hit Gandhi’s. Police said damage to the cars was minor.

A car driven by Saher Jilani of Princeton was stopped in traffic on Route 27 when it was struck from behind by one driven by Colleen Kacerosky of Kendall Park. Kacerosky said she could not stop in time.

Cars driven by Joseph Montano and Barbara Zalesky, both of Somerset, backed into each other in a parking lot on Cedar Grove Lane.

§

Juvy Gutierrez of Somerset was backing out of a parking spot in a Pierce Street lot when her car collided with one driven by Gary Williams of Ithaca, NY. Gutierrez said she did not see Williams’ car. Police cited Gutierrez for careless driving.

§

Someone stole the stop sign from the corner of Culver and Ninth streets. Police said the township Department of Public Works was going to replace it.

§

Randal Hnasko of Raritan was cited for careless driving after the car he was driving struck the rear of one driven by Jonas Cruz of Piscataway while Cruz’ car was stopped in traffic on Cedar Grove Lane. Hnasko told police that he looked at his GPS system for a “split second” prior to the crash.

Nov. 19

Sarah Miller of Hillsborough was driving down Skillmans Lane when a deer suddenly ran in front of her car. She told police that she could not avoid hitting it.

§

A Somerset Street resident reported that three men entered his parked car and removed some clothing, but dropped it and fled when they were confronted by his sister. He said the car was unlocked. All of the clothing was recovered.

§

Marc Grenberger of West Windsor was cited for careless driving after police said a car he was driving sideswiped one driven on South Middlebush Road by Audrey Harrigan of Franklin Park.

§

Lary Malapitan of Kendall Park was driving down Cedar Grove Lane, he told police, when his car struck a deer that had suddenly run in front of his car.
