There will be a new venue this year for the annual Wine & Spirits Tasting fundraiser held by Franklin Township PBA Local 154.

The event, which last year sold out, will be held from 7-11 p.m. April 21 at The Marigold, 315 Hamilton Street.

The evening features tastings from a varieties of vintners and liquor providers, as well as hors d’oeuvres and a full buffet, a cigar rolling station and a 50/50.

FTPD Sgt. Anthony Bisignano, the event’s organizer, said they expect between 250 and 300 guests at the tasting.

Money raised through the event is donated back to community organizations, Bisignano said.

Organizations receiving donations from the PBA local include the Franklin Food Bank, Franklin High School First Night, Boy Scout Troop 154 and the NJ Special Olympics, he said.

The PBA also uses the money to buy backpacks and school supplies for township schoolchildren and to sponsor a Franklin Little League team.

Tickets for the 21-and-over event are $65 each in prior to April 17 and $70 after April 17 and at the door.
