Life Story: Terrence Doherty, 31; Lifelong Township Resident

Terrence Doherty passed away on October 23 at his home in Somerset. He was 31 years old.

TJ was born in New Brunswick and was a lifelong resident of Franklin Township.

He was a 2005 graduate of NJ National Guard Challenge Youth Program. He was employed by Middlesex County Utilities Authority as part of the Maintenance Team. He enjoyed hiking, skiing and his little terrier, Jordan.

TJ was predeceased by his mother Kateryna in January of this year. He was also predeceased by his paternal grandmother Rosemary Doherty this past July and his maternal grandmother this past August.

He is survived by his father Terry Doherty of Somerset, his sister Shannon Doherty of Old Bridge and his girlfriend Joanna Joseph.

Visiting will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. October 29, with a blessing being given at noon.
