Life Story: Raheem Eggleston, 43; FHS Class Of ’93 Graduate
Raheem Eggleston passed away on November 10 at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s Hospital in New York City. He was 43 years old.
Mr. Eggleston was born in New Brunswick and resided for many years in Somerset. He graduated from Franklin High School in 1993. He was employed by Project Renewal as a counselor for over 13 years.
Mr. Eggleston was pre-deceased by his mother, Nancy Eggleston.
He is survived by his father, David Thompson, and his children Astaija Johnson and her mother Tenesha Johnson, Arriana Eggleston and Jordan Eggleston and their mother Silvia Machado. He is also survived by his brothers Rashond Smith, Travis Thompson, Brian Eggleston and Darnell Thompson and a granddaughter Nyla Marie Johnson.
Visiting will take place from 5 o’clock to 9 o’clock p.m. Nov. 15 at the Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton Street, and on Nov. 16 from 9 o’clock to 11 o’clock a.m. at the funeral home. A funeral service will begin at 11 o’clock a.m. and committal services will follow at Franklin Memorial Park in North Brunswick.
