Life Story: Dennis Tangolics, 65; U.S. Navy Vietnam Veteran, Union Plumber

Dennis Joseph Tangolics, 65, passed away surrounded by his wife and son on Jan. 1, at his home in Somerset.

Dennis was born in New Brunswick and resided in Somerset County.

Mr. Tangolics for over 40 years was a plumber and pipefitter for Local Union #9 in Englishtown, NJ. Shortly after retirement, he worked part-time for Montgomery School District as a school bus driver.

Dennis honorably served in the Navy during the Vietnam Era and was discharged on January 11, 1976.

Dennis was predeceased by his father, Louis Tangolics.

He is survived by his loving spouse of 15 years, Audrey; his son, Michael Tangolics; his mother, Margaret Tangolics; his brother, Roy Tangolics and his wife Nancy; his mother and father in law, Howard and Eileen Press; his brother in law, Jeffrey Press and his wife Karen; his niece, Rachel Press; his nephew, Daniel Press and many family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10 o’clock in the morning on Jan. 4 at Franklin Memorial Park Cemetery in North Brunswick.
