Life Story: Arthur McGee; FHS Graduate, Formerly Of Somerset

Mr. Arthur McGee passed away on March 15, 2017 at his daughter’s home in Greensboro. N.C.

Mr. McGee was born in Chicago and lived for more than 30 years in Franklin Township prior to moving to Greensboro five years ago.

Mr. McGee was a graduate of Franklin Township High School. He was employed for more than 20 years by Tyco in Piscataway. He was an Oakland Raiders and LA Lakers fan and never had his IPad far from his side.

He was predeceased by his wife Dorothy McGee in December of 2016.

Mr. McGee is survived by his parents, Arthur and Rosie McGee; his children, Chablea Taylor and her husband Leonard and Joseph Chiles and his wife Racquel. He is also survived by his siblings Dennis, Johnny, Cathy, Cynthia and Treena and grandchildren Cheyenne, Madison, Zoe, Leonard Jr., Joseph Jr., and Janessa.

Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. March 25 at Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton St., followed by a service at 10 a.m.

Burial will be in Franklin Memorial Park, 1800 Lincoln Highway, North Brunswick.
