FR&A Gallery: PBA Local 154 Holds Inaugural Wine Tasting Fundraiser

The Franklin Township PBA Local 154 held its first wine tasting fundraiser April 17 at the Imperia on Easton Avenue.

Lt. Darrin Russo, one of the event’s organizers, said it was created as a way to raise more money that the PBA local would then give to township organizations.

“It’s just a new way to bring in a little more money for the local, so we can give it back to the community,” he said.

Police Sgt. Anthony Bisignano, the event chairman, said the local created a civic association – the Franklin Township PBA Local 154 Civic Association – to help in that effort.

“This is the first major fundraiser we’ve had for that purpose,” he said.
