Entries Wanted for Architecture-Inspired Art Show at Quail Brook Senior Center
Entries are being sought for a planned exhibition at the Quail Brook Senior Center of architecture-inspired art.
The exhibition is sponsored by the Somerset County Office on Aging and Disability Services. Artists of all ages are eligible.
The deadline for submitting work is Nov. 6. Artwork can include watercolors, oils, acrylics, photography, pastels, drawings, mixed media and printmaking.
The exhibit will be featured at the Franklin center, located at 625 New Brunswick Rd., and the Somerset County Senior Wellness Center in Basking Ridge.
Artists can send a maximum of five 4×6 photographs or slides of their work to Caitlin Witucki at the Somerset County Office on Aging and Disability Services, P.O. Box 3000, Somerville, NJ 08876 or emailed to her at Witucki@co.somerset.nj.us.
All entries must be identified and will be returned. A list of all submissions should be included on a separate sheet of paper and include the artist’s name, address and phone number, and the pieces’ titles, dimensions and media types.
Artists whose works have been selected will be notified by Nov. 7. The work should be framed, wired and ready for hanging.
The work may be offered for sale, with a small percentage of sales donated to the Somerset County Nutrition Program to benefit senior center activities.
