East Millstone to Celebrate its History Sept. 28

A celebration of the 30th anniversary of East Millstone being placed on the National Register of Historic Places is set for noon to 4 p.m. Sept. 28 at the East Millstone Antiques & Cafe, Market and Williams streets.

The event will feature village memorabilia; anyone with historic mementos they would like to share that day can contact Denise at (732) 220-0042 or emantiquesandcafe@gmail.com.

Music will be provided from 2-4 p.m. by the Lesser Seamus trio, featuring village resident Michael Steinbruck.

The history of the Millstone and New Brunswick railroad will be discussed by historian Robert Mettler at 12:30 p.m.

Old photographs, posters and other pieces will be on display during the day.
