Danielsen Scores Endorsements For Assembly Run

State Assemblyman Joe Danielsen (D-17) has won a number of endorsements in his election campaign.


State Assemblyman Joe Danielsen (D-17) has received endorsements from a number of organizations in his run for a full term, according to a release from his campaign.

Endorsements for the Assemblyman, who is running for a full term in the state Legislature’s lower house, include:

  • AFL-CIO
  • CWA
  • Health Professionals and Allied Employees
  • I.B.E.W.
  • JNESO
  • New Jersey Apartment Association (NJAA)
  • New Jersey Chapter of National Association of Social Workers (NASW-NJ)
  • New Jersey Education Association (NJEA)
  • New Jersey League of Conservation Voters (NJLCV)
  • New Jersey Police Benevolent Association
  • New Jersey Retired Educators Association
  • New Jersey State Firefighters Mutual Benevolent Association (FMBA)
  • NEW JOBS
  • Northeast Regional Council of Carpenters
  • Professional Firefighters of New Jersey

Danielsen thanked his endorsers.

“I want to thank all those organizations that have invested their trust in me and extended their full endorsement to my campaign for the NJ General Assembly LD 17,” he said in an email. “Endorsements continue to come in by the day. I’ve worked very hard for many years to improve my communities – today’s endorsements are a wonderful acknowledgement of that work.”

Danielsen’s district includes Franklin as well as Milltown, New Brunswick, North Brunswick and Piscataway.

Danielsen was selected by district Democrats to fill the unexpired term of Upendra Chivukula, who left the legislature to join the state Board of Public Utilities.
