Bridgewater, NJ – The Bridgeport Bluefish (25-44, 47-92) defeated the Somerset Patriots (37-32, 84-55) 2-0 Saturday evening from TD Bank Ballpark
In the top of the seventh inning first baseman Austin Gallagher ripped a RBI double and center fielder James Simmons stroked a RBI single to give Bridgeport a 2-0 advantage.
James Parr (1-0) earned the win in relief. Matt Zielinski (10-8) sustained the loss in relief. Tim Gustafson earned his sixth save of the year.
