Somerset Patriots Take Series Opener 8-3

Sugar Land, TX – The Somerset Patriots (28-23, 78-43) defeated the Sugar Land Skeeters (22-29, 58-63) 8-3 Tuesday evening at Constellation Field. All nine starters recorded at least one hit for the Patriots.

In the top of the second inning third baseman David Vidal mashed a home run (8) to give Somerset a 1-0 advantage.
