Patriots Win Rain Shortened Game 4-2

gamerecapupdate42914Bridgewater, NJ- The Somerset Patriots defeated the Camden Riversharks 4-2 in a rain-shortened game that ended in the bottom of the sixth inning at TD Bank Ballpark on Tuesday evening.

 

The Riversharks took a 2-0 lead in the top of the fourth inning on a home run by Alex Hudak (1).

 

Somerset cut the lead to 2-1 in the bottom of the inning on a Luis Montanez RBI single.

 

The Patriots tied up the game in the fifth on an RBI infield single by Jonny Tucker.

 

The Patriots took the lead in the bottom of the sixth inning on an RBI fielder’s choice by Ty Wright and another on a throwing error by first baseman Joe Dunigan that made the score 4-2.
