Bridgewater, NJ – The Somerset Patriots (8-5) shutout the Bridgeport Bluefish (7-6) 1-0 in 10 innings Friday night from TD Bank Ballpark. Designated hitter Thomas Neal hit a RBI sacrifice fly to propel the Patriots to their fourth straight home victory.
It was Somerset’s fourth win in their final at bat this season and second walk-off win this week.
Edwin Quirarte (1-0) earned the win in relief, pitching a scoreless inning. David Fischer (0-1) suffered the loss in relief.
