Patriots Top Barnstormers 8-6

Lancaster, PA – The Somerset Patriots (43-16) defeated the Lancaster Barnstormers (25-34) 8-6 Wednesday evening at Clipper Magazine Stadium. The Patriots extended their winning streak to a season-high eight games. With the victory the Patriots clinched the series and are now 11-0-2 in their last 13 series.

In the top of the second inning Somerset scored four times to take a 4-0 lead. The initial run came across via a throwing error by pitcher Dan Osterbrock. Shortstop Robert Andino clubbed a two RBI double while left fielder Aharon Eggleston roped a RBI single.
