National Voter Registration Day; Are You Registered?

National Voter Registration Day is Sept. 26.

To register to vote, you must:

  • Be a United States’ citizen
  • Be 17 years old, although you may not vote until you turn 18
  • Be a resident of Somerset County for at least 30 days before the election
  • Not currently serving a sentence, probation or parole because of a felony conviction.

If you’re not yet registered to vote for the November elections, we’ll make it easier for you: here are NJ Voter Registration forms in English and in Spanish.
