Former Somerset Patriots Pitcher Buddy Boshers Called Up To MLB With The Twins

Bridgewater, NJ – The Somerset Patriots have announced that former relief pitcher Buddy Boshers has been called up to the Major Leagues by the Minnesota Twins.

He becomes the 15^th Somerset Patriots player to spend time with the team and move on to the Major League level, the most in the Atlantic League. He is the first since outfielder Michael Ryan, who was called up by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in 2010. In 2008 alone, four former Somerset Patriots were serving in Major League Baseball.
