Eggleston’s Walk Off Wins It In 12th For Patriots

Bridgewater, NJ – The Somerset Patriots (22-10) shutout the Long Island Ducks (18-14) 1-0 in 12 innings Thursday evening from TD Bank Ballpark. Left fielder Aharon Eggleston spanked a walk-off RBI single to plate center fielder Jonny Tucker as the Patriots won for the fifth time in walk-off fashion. Tucker drew a leadoff walk and would steal second base to get in scoring position.

Daniel Sattler earned the win (2-0) as he struck out the side in the top of the 12^th inning. Amalio Diaz sustained the loss (0-1).
