April 2 & 22 – Tai Chi with Bobbi Joels, 10:30 a.m. Tai Chi is based on shifting body weight through a series of light, controlled movements that flow rhythmically together into one long, graceful gesture. Studies have reported that some participants experience a reduction in pain, fatigue and stiffness and gain a greater sense of well-being. Regular tai chi can help reduce falls, especially for those with balance problems.

April 4, 15, 25 & 29 – HealthEASE: A Health Education Curriculum/Workshop with Caitlin Witucki, MS, Health Promotion Specialist, Somerset County Office on Aging & Disability Services, 10:30 a.m. Topics will include Standing Tall Against Falls, Keeping Up the Beat: Heart Health, Bone Up On Your Health: Osteoporosis and Keeping Your Mind Sharp.
April 7 – “Food of the Gods: Is Chocolate the New Health Food?” by Daryl Minch, M.Ed., CFCS, FCHS Educator, Rutgers Cooperative Extension, 10:30 a.m.
April 8 – A visit to the Manville Senior Center for a hands-on Calligraphy Program 10:45 a.m. by Catherine Lent, sponsored by the Horizon Foundation.

April 25 – “Spring Fever Concert” with the Whitehouse Wind Symphony, Franklin High school Auditorium, 7:30-9:00 p.m. (The proceeds from this concert will benefit the Quail Brook Senior Center Activities Fund and the White Wind Symphony.)
April 28 – Yoga Demonstration with Lucy Pagnetti, Korean Style Yoga Instructor, 10:30 a.m.
