Hillsborough Travel Wednesday and Thursday May Be Delayed

If you’re planning on driving into Hillsborough next week, after the Labor Day holiday, you’ll need to know that the state is planning some road work in the area of the Route 206 bypass that may affect your travel time.

According to Somerset County officials:

Amwell Road (CR 514):

On Wednesday September 4, 2013, Local police will control the traffic signal at the intersection of Amwell Road and the Service Road as necessary for acceptance testing between the hours of 10:00 am and 4:00 PM

Homstead Road

On Wednesday September 4, 2013 and Thursday September 5, 2013 (if work not completed on Wednesday), an  alternating traffic pattern with flagman will be occur on  Homestead Road between Route 206 and Willow Road Bridge between the hours are 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM for survey work on Homestead Road.

Hillsborough Road

On Thursday September 5, 2013 (only if survey work on Homestead Road is completed on September 4, 2013) and Friday September 6, 2013, an alternating traffic pattern with flagman will be occur on  Hillsborough Road between Route 206 and Willow Road Bridge between the hours are 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM for survey work on the Hillsborough Road Bridge over CSX RR.
