Township Students Earn College Honors

Jordan Deavereaux was named to the Dean’s List at Rochester Institute of Technology for the fall semester 2015-2016. Deavereaux is studying in the applied computer technology program. Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean’s List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of “Incomplete”, “D” or “F”; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

 

The following local residents have been named to the fall 2015 Dean’s List at University of the Sciences. Selection for this award is based on completing and passing all assigned courses with no grade below a “C” and attaining an academic average of at least 3.4 for courses taken in the fall of 2015.

  • Hirvi Dalal, a pharmaceutical and healthcare business student.
  • Parth Patel, a pharmacology and toxicology student.
  • Dhara Patel, a exercise science and wellness management student.
  • Vibu Udayaraj, a physician assistant studies student.
  • Yati Patel, a physician assistant studies student.
  • Pooja Patel, a doctor of occupational therapy student.
  • Shanaya Patel, a doctor of occupational therapy student.
  • Nicolette Cerminaro, a doctor of pharmacy student.
  • Stefan Kolodij, a doctor of pharmacy student.
  • Alexander Micale, a doctor of pharmacy student.
  • Tejumade Akande, a doctor of pharmacy student.
  • Khushbu Patel, a doctor of physical therapy student.

 

Praneet Kang was named to the dean’s list at Bates College for the fall semester ending in December 2015. This is a distinction earned by students whose cumulative grade point average is 3.71 or higher. Kang, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harsharan S. Kang, is a 2013 graduate of Franklin High School. She is majoring in biology at Bates.

 

Students at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Metropolitan Campus, located in Teaneck, NJ have been named to the Dean’s and Honors Lists for the Fall 2015 semester: Emanuel Osano and Sheldon Johnson named to the Honors List. To qualify for the Honors List, a student must carry a 3.5 or better grade point average out of a possible 4.0 and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 letter-graded hours (four courses). James Klawitter named to the Dean’s List. To qualify for the Dean’s List, a student must carry a 3.2 or better grade point average out of a possible 4.0 and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 letter-graded hours (four courses).

 

Students at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Florham Campus, located in Madison, NJ have been named to the Dean’s and Honors Lists for the Fall 2015 semester. Shalette Brown, Gabrielle KissiYaneyris Rodriguez and Kelly Allen have been named to the Dean’s List. To qualify for the Dean’s List, a student must carry a 3.2 or better grade point average out of a possible 4.0 and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 letter-graded hours (four courses). Amy Slobodzian, Saadiq Muhammad,  Laishah Holloman and Ashley Krushinski have been named to the Honors List. To qualify for the Honor’s List, a student must carry a 3.5 or better grade point average out of a possible 4.0 and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 letter-graded hours (four courses).

 

Cristina Canestri earned Dean’s List honors at Saint Joseph’s University for the Fall 2015 semester. Canestri studies Biology at the University. Students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or above, a B or greater in all their classes, and complete at least 15 credits to earn dean’s list status for a semester.

 

Wilkes University Provost Dr. Anne Skleder announced Andrea Circelli and Nicole Salvatico have been named to the Dean’s List for the Fall 2015 Semester. To be named to the Dean’s List, students must obtain a minimum 3.4 grade point average and carry at least 12 credits.

 

Jaime Bowman has earned High Honors for the fall semester of the 2015-2016 academic year at the University of New Hampshire. Students named to the Dean’s List at the University of New Hampshire have earned recognition through their superior scholastic performance. Highest Honors are awarded to students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.85 or better out of a possible 4.0. Students with a 3.65 to 3.84 average are awarded high honors and students whose grade point average is 3.5 through 3.64 are awarded honors.

 

Tufts University recently announced the dean’s list for undergraduate students enrolled for the Fall 2015 semester. Among these students is Iqra Asghar of Franklin Park, NJ, class of 2018 Dean’s list honors at Tufts University require a semester. grade point average of 3.4 or greater.

 

The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce that 4,986 undergraduates have qualified for the Fall 2015 Dean’s List. The students represent nearly all of Rhode Island’s cities and towns, all six New England states, New York and New Jersey, other states and 18 countries. John Hani Fares of Somerset, NJ, was named to the Dean’s List. To be included on the Dean’s List, students must have completed 12 or more credits during a semester for letter grades with at least a 3.30 quality point average qualify for the Dean’s list. Part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 credits with a 3.30 quality point average.

 

Jenelle Buckle has been named to the University of Delaware’s Dean’s List for the 2015 fall semester. To meet eligibility requirements for the Dean’s List, a student must be enrolled full-time and earn a GPA of 3.33 or above (on a 4.0 scale) for the semester.

 

The University of Hartford is pleased to announce that Cristen Bailey and Sara Kohut have been named to the Dean’s List for Fall 2015.
