Township Residents Earn College Honors

Madeline Smith qualified for Belmont University’s Summer 2016 Dean’s List. Eligibility for the summer session is based on a minimum 9-hour course load over 10 weeks and a quality grade point average of 3.5 with no grade below a C.

Belmont Provost Dr. Thomas Burns said, “This achievement indicates that these students have placed a high priority on their work at Belmont and have invested time and energy in their studies. It is our strong belief that consistent application in this manner will reap great benefits, which will equip them for a lifetime of learning and growing.”

Rebecca Wagner, a student at the Pratt Institute, was among more than 1,000 students who made the President’s List in the Spring 2016 semester.

Jaime Bowman has earned Honors for the spring semester of the 2015-2016 academic year at the University of New Hampshire.

Students named to the Dean’s List at the University of New Hampshire are students who have earned recognition through their superior scholastic performance. Highest honors are awarded to students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.85 or better out of a possible 4.0. Students with a 3.65 to 3.84 average are awarded high honors and students whose grade point average is 3.5 through 3.64 are awarded honors.
