Township Resident Wins PSEG Volunteerism Award

A township woman has won a volunteerism award for her work with the township Pop Warner organization.

Janine Wright, an IT contract manager for PSEG, recently received the company’s Recognizing Excellence in Volunteerism award.

Wright became involved in the Pop Warner program when her children began playing, according to a release on the award. During her time working with Pop Warner, she has improved and streamlined the registration process and established a forum to communicate with parents and coaches, according to the release.

In addition she has worked to solicit additional volunteers for the organization, the release said. With Janine’s help, the organization now has a completed Board for the 2014-2015 season.

The award winners were selected by an independent panel of representatives from the state’s volunteer community, according to the release.
