Somerset Patriots To Host Italian-American Heritage Night On July 24th

Bridgewater, NJ— The Somerset Patriots will host Italian-American Heritage Night at TD Bank Ballpark on Tuesday, July 24th during a home game against the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 pm with gates opening at 6:00 pm.

Italian-American Heritage Night features a pre-game performance by crooner and Flemington resident Jack McDade singing Frank Sinatra classics on the main concourse from 6:00 pm to 6:40 pm.

The first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive a raffle ticket when entering the ballpark that can be used in a tricky tray to win gift cards from local Italian businesses. There will also be a mini-Italian flag giveaway for the first 200 fans.

The Italian National Anthem will be performed by Domenico Tancredi before the game.

Homeplate Catering & Hospitality, the official concessionaire of the Somerset Patriots will be offering a specialty menu for the night with Italian favorites like Premio chicken sausage, breadsticks with marinara sauce, pepperoni and cheese rollups, and cannolis.

In addition, Premio Foods will be sampling a variety of Italian sausages in front of the ballpark and will also have their very own racecar and driver Willie Osmun onsite for an autograph session.
