Somerset Patriots Fan Fest Set For Saturday, April 8th

Bridgewater, NJ- The Somerset Patriots have announced that their annual Fan Fest will take place on Saturday, April 8th at TD Bank Ballpark from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

 

Fan Fest is a FREE admission event to kick off spring and the upcoming baseball season. Fan Fest includes a chance for fans to meet and get autographs from baseball legend and the team’s manager emeritus Sparky Lyle, 2015 Atlantic League Manager of the Year Brett Jodie and his coaches, as well as several players to be announced from this year’s team.

 

The first 500 kids in attendance will receive a Somerset Patriots Hat. Fans will be able to participate in carnival games and activities, as well as be entertained by clowns, face painters, and Sparkee, Slider and General Admission. All kids will get to run the bases after the game.

 

Throughout Fan Fest, the team will provide an exclusive one-day only April/May Ticket Special. Fans that buy tickets to any April or May game will receive a second game free. The Somerset Patriots will also be providing fans with the opportunity to purchase a 12 Game Mini Plan and get the second for half price and Flex Ticket books (22 tickets) for $150 (actual value $242). Fans can check out available Season Ticket seat locations while at the ballpark.

 

The Somerset Patriots, along with All-Star Game presenting partners RWJBarnabas Health and Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, will have a special All-Star Game announcement.

 

An 1860’s Style Base Ball Game will take place between the Flemington Neshanock and Atlantic Base Ball Club down on the field at 12:15 pm. After the game is complete, all kids will get to run the bases.

 

Kids between the ages of 10-15 will be able to interview with Spearhead Staffing representatives for the chance to become the Somerset Patriots Kid CEO for the 2017 season, which will give one lucky kid a chance to work and learn all the different aspects of running a baseball team.

 

There will be live music throughout the event by Acoustic Road and HomePlate Catering will have the concession stands open for fans to enjoy their favorite ballpark fare.

 

Fans can take tours of the Diamond Club and the Suites, which are available for group outings throughout the season. Fans will also be able to see the Birthday Suite, which opened last season.

 

The Patriots Team Store will be open and unveil new apparel featuring 20th Season and All-Star themed merchandise.

 

Various partner tables will be on site including TD Bank, AT&T, Branchburg Sports Complex, Operation Shoebox New Jersey, and many more to be announced as the date draws near.

 

Tickets to the 2017 Somerset Patriots Season presented by Ford, which includes the team’s 20th Anniversary, are on sale now. TD Bank Ballpark will be the host of the 2017 Atlantic League All-Star Game presented by RWJBarnabas Health and Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey on Wednesday, July 12th.
