Somerset Family Physical Therapy Hosts ‘Toys For Tots’
Somerset Family Physical Therapy is once again serving as a donation center for the U.S. Marine Corps reserves “Toys for Tots” program.
The office’s goal is to collect 200 toys, according to a press release about the event. last year, 100 toys were collected in two weeks.
Practice employee Megan Gonzalez, whose husband is a deployed Marine, heads the program for SFPT.
For Gonzalez, organizing Toys for Tots is her way of supporting her husband, “even if he is halfway around the world,” she said. “Toys for Tots is a reminder that there is always a way to help.”
“What better way is there than Toys for Tots to make sure that every child’s Christmas is filled with joy, happiness, and magic?” Kevin Kurtz, SFPT’s owner, said in the release.
New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off through December 9 at the practice, located at 14M World’s Fair Drive. The office is opens Monday through Saturday at 8 a.m. On Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday the office is open until 7 p.m., on Wednesday and Friday until 4 p.m. and on Saturday until 11 a.m.
