Reward Increased For Information On Township Man’s Shooting Death

The reward for information leading to the indictment of whoever is responsible for the May shooting death of a 30-year-old township man has been increased to up to $3,500.

The increase of the reward from Crime Stoppers of Somerset County was announced in a press release from the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office.

David Anderson of Henry Street was shot multiple times late in the evening of May 18 during a large gathering at Naaman Williams Park, according to police. Anderson later died from his wounds.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit at (908) 231-7100 or the Franklin Township Police Department at (732) 873-5533 or via the STOPit app. The STOPit app allows citizens to provide anonymous reports including videos and photos. Information can also be provided through the Somerset County Crime Stoppers’ Tip Line at 1-888-577-TIPS (8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips will be kept confidential.
