Rash Of Front Stoop Package Thefts In Township

Packages left on stoops and porches were stolen from a number of homes in the township on Oct. 21 and 22.

On Oct. 21, An Amethyst Way resident reported that a package containing goods worth $195 was stolen from their front door.

In the package were a pair of boots valued at $40, a pair of shoes valued at $50, a pair of gloves valued at $5 and a pair of sneakers valued at $100.

Later that day, another Amethyst Way resident reported that a package had been stolen from their front porch. The package contained personal products valued at $71.

Also on Oct. 21, a resident on Arthur Glick Boulevard reported that a package containing $200 worth of clothing was stolen from their front door.

A package containing an ankle brace valued at $20 was stolen from the front door of a Gregory Lane home on Oct. 21, while another Gregory Lane resident reported the theft of a package containing a pair of black furry boots valued at $11.

A third Gregory Lane resident on Oct. 21 reported the theft of a package containing a Lombardi trophy replica valued at $55.

On Oct. 22, a Village Drive resident reported that someone stole a package from their front porch. The package contained a car hitch valued at $42.

Later that day, a Buckingham Way resident reported the theft of two packages left at their front door. Inside the packages were organic food valued at $30 and cleaning supplies valued at $25.

On Oct. 24, a Vince Road resident that someone stole a package delivered to her front door.
