February 4 – Valentine’s Day Craft: Celebrating the Saint of Spring with Willow Creek Rehabilitation Center, 10:30 a.m.
February 5 & 11 – “Take Control of Your Health: Diabetes Self-Management Program.” by Judy Miao, 10:00-noon (Participants will learn techniques for dealing with symptoms of diabetes, including pain, fatigue, hyper/hypoglycemia, stress and depression.  The program will also provide information about improving strength and endurance, working effectively with health care providers, appropriate use of medication and healthy eating habits.  Each participant will receive a free 382-page book, titled “Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions.”  This project was supported, in part by grant number 90CS0042-02-00, from the U.S. Administration for Community Living, Department of Health and Senior Services, Washington D.C. 20201.  Grantees undertaking projects under government sponsorship are encouraged to express freely their findings and conclusions.  Points of view or opinions do not, therefore, necessarily represent official Administration for Community Living policy.)

February 6 – “Dr. Alois Alzheimer & Modern Day Alzheimer’s disease: Fiction vs. Fact” by Josie Mescallado, Home Instead Senior Care, 10:30 a.m.
February 10 & 24 – Ageless Grace: A New Exercise Program. By Roz Gerken, 10:30 a.m. (This is a timeless fitness program. for the body and mind for lifelong comfort and ease.  Learn simple tools and activities that include right and left-brain stimulation and physical movement.)
February 11 – “Get Acquainted with Your Heart: A Mind, Body and Soul Experience” by Saint Peter’s University Hospital, 10:30 a.m.
February 12 – In-service – Center Closed
February 13 – Love Yourself, It’s a Spring Thing: Update Your Do with a Spring Trim, 10:30 a.m. (Happy Valentine’s Day!  A local stylist will be at the center to provide trims. Please call (732) 563-4213 to schedule your appointment.)
February 16 – Holiday – Center Closed
