Bingo Tournament – Every Thursday
Bridge Lessons – Every Friday, 10:30 a.m.
Caram – Daily (East Indian Game Similar to Billiards)
Chair Exercises – Every Wednesday, 10:30 a.m.
Computer Instruction – Every Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. Advance registration required.
Games (Scrabble, Dominos, Checkers, Yahtzee, Uno & Quizzle) – Daily
Healthy Bones Exercise Class – Monday, 9:30 a.m. (Doctor’s Note Needed for Class)
Line Dancing – Every Friday, 9:30 am
February 3 – “Home, Phone & Life Alert Safety Tips” by the Franklin Township Police Department, 10:30 am
February 4 – “Controlling Bed Bugs” by Lynne Gregory, Coordinator, Pesticides Community Outreach, United States Environmental Protection Agency, Region 2, 10:30 am (The most important step in controlling bed bugs is to learn about them and prevent them from being introduced.  This program will highlight the prevention, detection and control of bed bugs, which are parasites that seek out sleeping people or animals.  Non-chemical and chemical intervention methods will also be discussed.)
February 5 – Craft: Valentine’s Day Card Creation with Joanne
February 6 – “Fire Precaution-Fire Prevention: The Elements of Fire Safety” by the Franklin Township Fire Prevention & Rescue Squad, 10:30 am
February 10 – “Gaining Wisdom: Learn How To Identify and Resolve Conflicts” by the Magic Mirror Players, Somerset Medical Center, 10:45 am
February 11 & 25 – Tai Chi with Bobbi Joels, 10:30 am (Tai Chi as exercise is based on shifting body weight through a series of light, controlled movements that flow rhythmically together into one long, graceful gesture.  Some studies have reported that participants experienced a reduction in pain, fatigue and stiffness and a greater sense of well-being.  Regular tai chi can help reduce falls especially for those with balance problems.)
February 12 – In-service Day – Center Closed
February 14 – A Heart-Warming Experience: Cooking Demonstration for Heart Health with Allison Napolitano, RD, Shoprite/Wakefern Company, 10:30 a.m.
February 17 – Holiday – Center Closed
February 19 – “How to Keep Gold in Your Golden Years: Learning to Live with More Functionality” by the Kessler Rehabilitation Center, 10:30 a.m.
February 21 – Quail Brook Becomes a Movie Theatre, 10:30 a.m. (We will watch Double Indemnity with Edward G. Robinson.)
February 24 – Hands on Demonstration on How to Use Your Home Fire Extinguisher with the Franklin Township Fire Prevention & Rescue Squad, 10:30 am
February 26 – Free Foot & Ankle Screenings with Sharon Joag, DPM, from East Brunswick Foot Care, at 10:30 a.m.
