Police Log: Aug. 29 – Sept. 1, 2017

Aug. 29

  • Aazize Ait-Ouaddi of Paterson was cited for careless driving after his car struck one driven on Easton Avenue by Sally Macaluso of Easton, Pa., while he was changing lanes.
  • Kristine Zdrodowski of Monroe was cited for careless driving after her car rear-ended one driven on Bunker Hill Road by Debbie Horinko of Flagtown, as Horinko’s car was turning into the Griggstown Farm.
  • Julio Morales of Port Jervis, NY was cited for careless driving after his car spun out of control and hit a concrete median at Easton Avenue and John F. Kennedy Boulevard as he was turning.
  • Sidi Lemkheitir of Kenmore, NY was cited for careless driving after her car collided with one driven on Weston Canal Road by Harry Wheller of Hillsborough. Lemkheitir was turning onto the Route 287 on-ramp at the time of the crash.
  • Valentin Olegaro of New Brunswick was cited for careless driving, driving without a NJ driver’s license and driving without a driver’s license after his truck rear-ended a car driven on Amwell Road by Miriam Philips of Hillsborough. The owner of the truck was also cited for allowing an unlicensed person to drive the truck.

Aug. 31

  • Mitzie Williams of New Brunswick was cited for careless driving and driving without insurance after her car rear-ended one driven on Route 27 by Gary Kagan of Princeton.
  • Mindy Clemente of Kendall Park was cited for careless driving after her car backed into a car owned by Jilian Campbell of Monmouth Junction, which was parked in a Route 27 lot.

Sept. 1

  • Lauren Hansraj of Franklin Park was cited for careless driving after her car rear-ended one driven on Route 27 by Luis Liranzo-Ortego of Jersey City. Hansraj said she saw the car ahead of hers slowing, and accidentally hit the accelerator.
