Life Story: Benjamin Blew, 58; Head School District Custodian

Benjamin Blew of Somerset died April 16. He was 58.

Born in Somerville, Mr. Blew resided in Somerset for most of his life.

Prior to his retirement in 2019, Ben worked his way be to become the Head Custodian with Franklin Township Board of Education for 37 years.

He enjoyed boating, fishing, the beach and most of all grilling.

He is predeceased by his mother Margaret Blew, and his wife Eva Blew.

Surviving are his children, Kevin Blew and Monica Folkes; his father, Benjamin and step-mother, Karen Blew;
one brother, August Blew; two step-brothers, Carl and Richard Lizzano; three grandchildren, and his pup Roscoe.

A memorial gathering will be held on May 1 from 1:00 to 3:00pm. at the Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton Street.
