Elaine ‘Betty’ Milder; Lifelong Township Resident

Elaine “Betty” Milder, 92, died August 14 at her home in Somerset.

Mrs. Milder was born August 20, 1923 in Bloomfield, the daughter of Charles and Helen (Angell) Rugg. She was a lifelong resident of Somerset.

Betty was an avid bowler and loved spending time with her family.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents; her loving spouse, Philip P. Milder; her son, John Milder and her brother, Charles Rugg.

She is survived by her sons, Michael Milder of Somerset and Philip Milder of Lakewood; her granddaughter, Patty Ann Zielinski; her great grandchildren, Nicole Ashley, Philip Robert and Geno and a few nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, August 17th from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton St.

A Graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 18th at Franklin Memorial Park Mausoleum in North Brunswick.
