East Millstone Residents Gather To Say Good-Bye To Sunrise Creek Deli Owners

East Millstone icon to get new owners.

The final toast …

For the past decade, regular customers of the Sunrise Creek Deli on Main Street in East Millstone could count on a warm greeting, good coffee, big smiles and tasty Lebanese dishes – among others – when they entered the Main Street deli in East Millstone.

Some of that will change as of March 23 when the deli’s owners, siblings Arnold and Georgette Hage-Boutros and Jeannd’Arc (Joan) Youssef, formally sell the East Millstone icon. (We’re told that not much will change with the new owners.)

A group of their East Millstone neighbors, led by Michael and Kim Murray Steinbrück, gathered at the Steinbrücks’ home March 22 for a surprise party to say thank-you and goodbye.

The Franklin Reporter & Advocate was there, and we live-streamed part of the event:

Goodbye party for the owners of the Sunrise Cafe Deli, hosted by the Steinbrücks.
