Board of Education Awards More Than $76,000 In Contracts

Contracts totaling more than $76,000 were approved at the Oct. 23 Board of Education meeting.

The board approved a contract with Full Service Vending of Rockaway, through which the company will pay the board $27,118.05 to provide and maintain vending machines in the district’s schools.

Full Service was one of two companies that bid for the contract, according to district records.

The board voted to renew a contract worth $28,350 with Stronge & Associates of Williamsburg, Va. to provide the district with principal evaluation materials. This is the first renewal of the contract which was originally entered into in 2013, according to district records.

A $15,382.26 contract for technology supplies for Rutgers Preparatory School was won by CDW Government of Vernon Hills, Il. Funds come from non-public funding through the Middlesex Regional Educational Services Commission.

Exemplars of Underhill, Vt. was awarded a $3,700 contract to conduct a math teaching workshop for 3rd grade teachers.

A $2,500 contract was awarded to the New Brunswick-based Embrace Kids Foundation for educational services for a hospitalized student.
