Artwork Sought For Senior Center Exhibit

Local artists are invited to submit pictures of up to five samples of their work for consideration of inclusion in the Somerset County Office on Aging and Disability Services‘ spring art exhibits.

The exhibits will run from Feb. 3 to May 30 at the Quail Brook Senior Center on New Brunswick Road and the Somerset County Senior Wellness Center in Basking Ridge.

Art may be watercolors, oils, acrylics, photography, pastels, drawings, mixed media and printmaking.

The deadline for submissions is Jan. 21.

Send photographs or slides of JPEGS of artwork, 4″x6″, to Caitlin Witucki, Somerset County Office on Aging and Disability Services, P.O. Box 3000, Somerville, NJ 08876. They may also be emailed to her at witucki@co.somerset.nj.us.

All entries must be identified and a list of all submissions should be included on a separate sheet of paper, providing artist name, address, phone number, title, dimensions and media type.

Selected art must be framed, wired and ready for hanging.

Exhibitors may offer artwork for sale with a small percentage of the sale being donated to the Somerset County Nutrition Program to benefit senior center activities.
