On November 30, Cmdr. John Deily and Vice Cmdr. Ray Werensly put flags and wreaths on the memorial markers at the Veterans’ Memorial Park on DeMott Lane.

This is a tradition started by American Legion Post 478 several years ago when the park was completed.

They also placed wreaths on the new monument topped by a world globe and eagle, which was erected in November 2015.
